Abstract: The world is becoming more and faster, and so is the mobile data. With new and newer technologies and generations the broadband is becoming faster and more inclusive. As a communication engineer its always enthusiastic to know the technical know how behind these technologies. The topic 4G and Beyond will provide an understanding of various technical terms associated with fourth generation and fifth generation like long term evolution (LTE), millimeter wave technologies, multiple input multiple output (MIMO) etc. The lecture gives and insight to various practices and techniques employed in the industry to enhance the customer base, increase average rate per user (ARPU) etc, in a highly competitive telecom business.
