IEEE Communications Society Kerala Chapter Award
CATEGORY OF AWARD:-
AWARD DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this award is to recognize a professional member of IEEE Communication society who has made an outstanding contribution to IEEE ComSoc, their community, and the engineering community, through their dedication and involvement in projects or activities directed toward fulfilling one or more of the IEEE ComSoc goals and objectives.
Award eligibility:-
1)A professional member of IEEE ComSoc for at least 1 year
2)An IEEE member grade or higher
Basis of selection:-
1) Service to IEEE ComSoc at Section or Student Branch Chapter level
2) Candidates will be evaluated based on their IEEE ComSoc volunteer participation and community involvement; not on professional achievement
IEEE ComSoc OUTSTANDING STUDENT VOLUNTEER AWARD
The purpose of this award is to recognize an undergraduate/graduate student member of IEEE Communication society who has overcome barriers to pursue engineering and/or who has made a personal impact in their community through their dedication and involvement in projects or activities directed toward fulfilling one or more of the IEEE ComSoc goals and objectives.
Award eligibility:-
1)A student member of IEEE ComSoc for at least 1 year
2)An IEEE Student Member or Graduate student member as of the submission deadline
Basis of selection:-
1) Service to IEEE ComSoc at Section or Student Branch Chapter level
2) Candidates will be evaluated based on their IEEE ComSoc volunteer participation and community involvement; not on academic achievement.
IEEE COMSOC OUTSTANDING STUDENT BRANCH CHAPTER AWARD
The IEEE ComSoc outstanding student branch of the Year Awards are given annually to one IEEE ComSoc Student Branch that has shown outstanding leadership and initiative in organizing activities.
Basis of selection:-
We will take into consideration the percentage of participants from the available pool of members and individuals who could be served.
IEEE COMSOC BEST STUDENT BRANCH ADVISOR
The IEEE ComSoc best student branch advisor of the Year Awards is given annually to one IEEE ComSoc Student Branch advisor that has shown outstanding leadership and initiative in organizing activities.
Award eligibility:-
1)A professional member of IEEE ComSoc for at least 1 year
2)An IEEE member grade or higher
Basis of selection:-
1) Service to IEEE ComSoc at Student branch level
2) Candidates will be evaluated based on their IEEE ComSoc volunteer participation and community involvement; not on professional achievement
Women in Communication Engineering AWARDS
The purpose of this award is to recognize an undergraduate/graduate Female student member of IEEE Communication society who has overcome barriers to pursue engineering and/or who has made a personal impact in their community through their dedication and involvement in projects or activities directed toward fulfilling one or more of the IEEE ComSoc goals and objectives.
Awards can be presented to 1 or more female members according to their performance.
Award eligibility:-
1)A student member of IEEE ComSoc for at least 1 year
2)An IEEE Student Member or Graduate student member as of the submission deadline
3)Only female volunteers can apply for this award.

1) Service to IEEE ComSoc at Section or Student Branch Chapter level
2) Candidates will be evaluated based on their IEEE ComSoc volunteer participation and community involvement; not on academic achievement.
